SHOWTIME IN MADRID!
February 2012

SIMPLY DIVING Go PRO Spain is delighted to announce that they will be at the Dive Travel Show Madrid 2012 – after being selected by one of the world's scuba equipment giants to be part of their popular exhibition.
Scubapro has one of the biggest and most spectacular stands at the annual fair and is visited by thousands of eager scuba divers.
And as well as showcasing their impressive new products, they have invited just a handful of SEA (Scubapro Educational Association) centres from around Spain to advertise their wares alongside them.
“This will be our first ever appearance at the Dive Travel Show Madrid and so we are obviously very excited,” said Simply Diving's Dive Operations Manager Simon Bell.
“We'll be keen to tempt as many scuba divers from Madrid down to the Costa del Sol as possisble! After all, we are just a few hours by train from the capital, have perfect weather and sunshine, and offer the full range of PADI courses and great dive sites throughout the year.”
“We'll also be showing that the Costa del Sol is a fantastic option for those who want to take the step up to professional level with our PADI IDCs,” he added.
Record numbers of visitors are expected at this year's show, held at the Pabellón de Cristal on March 24th and 25th.
As well as major scuba diving equipment manufacturers and exotic dive holiday companies, the show’s attendees will be able to hear a presentation from the famous Pierre Yves Cousteau, conservationsist and youngest son of Captain Jacques Yves Cousteau, who will be discussing “Secrets of the Mediterranean”.
Another likely favourite will be Captain Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society who will be talking about how to police the oceans to protect marine biodiversity.
And a chance for all PADI Instructors, Divemasters and dive centres to get together and discuss dive industry news and all things PADI-related, there is the very popular PADI Member Social event.
Jose Luis Bertrand from Scubapro Spain said: ”We're delighted that Simply Diving will be joining us to be part of our exhibit at the show. As a Scubapro SEA Centre, they are an important part of our nationwide team.”
